David Schrichte is a retired Navy Musician and a consummate photographer with an ardent focus on the ocean environment. His images are featured nationally and internationally, appearing in a variety of publications including National Wildlife Magazine, Condenast Traveler, Earthwatch, National Geographic Traveler, Spirit of Aloha Magazine, NY Magazine and a myriad of media ranging from children's books to billboards, to calendars and drive guides. One of his images even shared the honor of appearing on the television gameshow, Jeopardy.

With an on-going commitment to marine conservation, David regularly contributes photographic talents to organizations dedicated to the awareness and preservation of endangered species such as the Save the Manatee Club, Sea Turtle Conservancy, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Sea 2 Shore Alliance, Mediterranean Association to Save the Sea Turtles, Delaware National Estuary Service, Friends of Hanauma Bay,the Wave Foundation and the Newport Kentucky Aquarium. David's work is also represented by two of the finest stock photography agencies in the United States: SeaPics and Photo Resource Hawaii.
